Heard it on Trojka today while driving through Lodz. Apparently, Poles find it much more difficult to talk about their talents than their drawbacks.

Okey. I think I'm really good at listening and making coffee.

I'm good at understanding people, at planning and not following the plan, at teaching, cleaning. And suck at baking, saving money and effective resting.

My question comes from the division into predyspozycje, uzdolnienia and talenty (predispositions, abilities and talents).
It's a hard one, I know.

I'm good at asking questions that I cannot answer myself.
I suck at answers. I'm extremely ambiguous, that's my talent.

Planning, organizing and stretching myself too thin… some say I’m good at playing music…

I’m horrible at displaying emotions… amongst millions of other things… but that’s the one I’ve been working on for years and I feel like I’ve gotten absolutely nowhere.

That's actually a very good thing - sucking at answers. It's good to suck at answers and know it, but at the same time asking all the right questions even if you don't know how to answer them. Much better than accepting answers handed to you by those who think that they got all the answers. - how's that for ambiguous hahaha....

Buddhist and Taoist monks would torment their pupils by asking them questions, when eventually they would comeback with answers, they would destroy and make a mockery of their answers and send them right back to the drawing board.

I'm really good at learning languages, excellent at reading (and I read real fast, with good retention), I enjoy cooking and am quite a good cook, I know a lot about the things I'm interested in. I can draw.

I suck at making important choices and I tend to procrastinate :)

I would hurt any of these "no rules" fighters very, very badly. :)))
I can shoot a dime or 2 groszy from a long, long ways away.

When people paint their home interiors, I'm not invited. If I show up anyway, they don't let me pick up a roller. They make me buy the beer; golf, which is pitiful because I like it so much; carpentry; being on time; interior design ideas (take the checkbook and surprise me); typing; reverance; expressive language skills; circular amusement park rides; BOWLING; rhythm; snow skiing; ironing; photography; penmanship; singing; posting recipes in "Dish of the Day"; saying goodbye; folding clothes; going to bars (pubs); sleeping; Polish; English; darts; plumbing; sailing; I would say dancing but I've never danced in my life...not once; peeling potatos; being available; making coffee; shopping for myself; skating; avoiding an occasional cigar; packing; I suck at tolerating people suffering, and I suck at resting....

I am really good at organising events: professional ones like conferences, but also bachelor & children parties, anniversaries, weddings. I was always told, I am a very good teacher, patient one, communicative and creative, with good teaching skills. I've also brought myself to the mastery level in so called creative cooking (fusion kitchen).

I suck badly at suppressing my feelings, muting my anger and waiting patiently. I rarely get mad, but when I do, it's definitely better to stay away from me - I resemble a walking powder keg. I suck at hitting the sack at some decent hour, permanent sleepgriefing is my worst enemy. I suck at making good friends, cause I am too critical, too picky about minor things, too honest (yes, it shoos ppl away..).

good at: workaholism, punctuality, dutifulness, self-education, sense of justice.

hopeless at: remembering important dates (birthdays, etc.), window cleaning, ironing, reverse driving (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1554746/reverse_driving/), spatial orientation, being available for my friends.
