I never get sick... Not allowed :D.

But honestly - working with my dad doesn't bother me. It's the job itself - I'm not cut out for it and I only took it cause he desperately needed someone in place of a girl who changed proffesion and people on the market couldn't even make him a proper coffee, forget about business...
Thankfully he understands that my path is different and that I won't stay here forever, so I'm just waiting for him to find someone suitable to pack my stuff and open my own business :-).

That's whats up! At least you have a plan of action. As hard as it may be, working for yourself is by far the best thing. Nothing like knowing that the more time you put in the more you are going to make.

I agree to a point but I ran my own European exporting business for about two years and it was a great success until the UK pound plummeted against the Polish zloty. Working for someone else has it benefits and suits me better because I dont need to be so disciplined and demanding with myself. I know when to call it a day. Someone else takes care of the paperwork,VAT Tax Insurance etc. I have a group of workmates I can socialize with and it beats being couped up in a room.
Working for yourself definitely has it advantages but so does working for a solid company. I think it ultimately comes down to what kind of company you work for and how they treat their employees.
