I haven't enough experience with many Polish male names, but a few English names jump out at me:

Trevor - Sexy
Danny - Complete jerk
Jason - Big trouble
Damien - Insolent
Jake - Addictive behavior
Keith - Quirky
Charlie - Talented
Dave - Tiresome
Noah - Immature
Malcom - Snob

The associations are meant for the names as they are - not to be confused with Daniel, Jacob, Charles and so on. If you have some for these - please add them. Plus - it's all in good fun, so don't be hatin'. :P

Danny can be nice, but I would never go to bed with a Colin or a Graham. Don't ask me why. A Darren, maybe......

In Poland, every second poof is called Andrzej or Tomek. Quite a few Jaceks too, and they are usually sexy. Please God, no Karol or Kuba.

When I arrived in Poland, the first thing my colleagues asked me how to pronounce my first name 'Guy'.
They tried everything ... I told them ... you can try everything EXCEPT to pronounce it like Gay.

Peter - Piper Parker pumpkin-eater with spidey sense
Steve - short form of 'stevedore'; sarcasm is his last name
Joseph - from the Pig Latin meaning "my foot is on fire"
Keith - nature lover; ideal place he'd live in = woods
Warren - hates enclosed spaces; good with rabbits, except those assertive ones
Adam - ribless man looking for a soft-round thief
George - "curious one of the jungle" originating in Madagascar
James - smeller of other people's heels
Ralph - a counsellor with a sharp tongue; he'll go where angels fear to tread

I believe Tatiana meant 'guys' as in people, not people called Guy.

As a matter of fact my immediate family call me 'Guy', it's my second name, but for some reason 'Warren' was placed first on the birth certificate.

I never liked the name 'Guy' tho', firstly because when I was a child it was associated with 'Guy Fawkes', and secondly as an adult because it gets confused with 'gay' (abroad).

So generally I stick with 'Warren', (which ain't a posh name in the U.K..)

well...I thought there was no such thing as a real nerd, like in Revenge of the Nerds when I was a kid. Then when I went to Junior High School, I saw the two brothers, Warren and Tate Potterbaum. I was shocked! They BOTH had tape on their one-inch thick glasses with their plaid shirts tucked all the way in over the navel. Since I have only ever seen one Warren in my life, it cannot really be an association, but I will never forget it. :)

Jarret - usually so uncool, the cool crowd accepts him.
Henry - adorable

Absolutely! My experience ends at only one Rafal, though. The above four are totally on the money. But I might toss in self-promoting, sneaky, and oddly humble to the list. :)

It's funny, how I never liked any Rafals when I was a kid. They usually bullied me or were just kind of awkward and ugly ducklings. Now that I've grown up, though, every Rafal I meet disproves my earlier experiences and they tend to be fun guys to be around ;)
