(I went to school with one of the owners...Mortgage guy...[also one of the co-founders of Google, for that matter...and look at me hehe...just a guy]).

I've been watching, listening to and reading opinions and interviews with NBA analysts and former players (even Chuck was being serious and, for once, was saying surprisingly intelligent things) all afternoon.

They all agree on one thing: regardless of whether Miami will or will not win the title next year(s), the only true winner in this situation is D.Wade.

He stayed true to the franchise for which he won the title 5 years ago. He could've gone ANYWHERE, could've returned home to Chitown where his family lives (2 kids), but chose Florida. Lower taxes were probably one of the reasons too, but still...

Bosh was saying for weeks that he wanted to be THE MAN, with a team built around him. That aint gonna happen in Miami.

LBJ will probably be the best scorer on the team, the biggest star and celebrity, but the Heat are and will remain D.Wade's team.

Some of the sports news agencies are reporting Shaq and the Celtics are close to a deal. It seems like he's settling into the "role-player" set.

I like his personality from I can know without actually knowing him.

He comes to mind as one of the most underrated players I've ever seen )an "All-Underrated Team would be a good way to get to sleep some night. Probably have to make two).

Alot of people can't forget his pout-sit-out (hey! I'm a poet! I didn't even...realize it) when he was asked to be a decoy (The article devotes a P to that "Not the Man"). Everyone has bad days, though.

I was riding through Chitown toward Michigan with AM Talk radio. The Chicago stations. An insider was saying that Chicago would rule out nothing vis-a-vis Carmela. Not even the big guy out of Florida with the funny hair is untouchable. Now I hear New Jersey could get involved. Denver's front office is starting to get in the way now. Nervous, I guess.

I've bought a sweet-ass D.Wade white Heat #3 jersey.

I'll be wearing it during numerous nights around May, June time next year.
