Oops. From the hangover foto, looks like he helped throw the game for that offer. I would too. You sign up through that Whiskey Whatever place, and go into the lockers and yell "it aint gonna be our night tonight, ladies!" hehe

The Heat keep getting their asses kicked by everybody. Won one vs the Sixers last night though.

But the competition does not sleep. They train hard. They resort to 'alternative' training methods.

The Heat won't go down easily though!!! AT least one of them won't. The one that didn't go "What was I supposed to do?" on the prime time national TV last summer.

Gossip: You may have already heard about "bumpgate," (0:25). People are sarcastically saying "great respect, Bron," etc. It looks inadvertent to me. I can see heading straight for a Gatorade, and if you bump into someone commrade'ish you don't fall out with "excuse me," "No. Excuse ME." No. It was my fault, excuse ME." :)

I happened to walk by the TV when they were watching Lakers/Heat. Two and twenty left (as Pistons announcer, George B. would call it) left and Kobe had 17 and 7 assts. Oops.

George B: "'Rip' at the line...makes." hehe

I actually watched the game! Man, what a tension! Kobe was (only) good and had no help from Pau.

Heat... finally the Big 3 decided to earn their weekly paychecks and played as a team.

All in all it was good to see LA get their asses kicked :)))

On a similar note, Da Bulls lost against NYK, despite Rose's heroic game.

I thought I would open my windows to see if I could get real quiet at night. I might be able to hear the one-dimensional (hey! new nickname: "1D") Kobe crying across the distance, like corn whispering in the wind. Soothing. :)

(I liked the outcome too).

Kobe passed Oscar R. to claim the 9th spot of the NBA all time leading scorers list. Well done Kobe. I still hate your guts, though.

The Spurs are rolling. Even their game doesn't seem all that boring this year. Richard Jefferson has been a good addition to the team.

Mah Bullz are doing Ok too. I've been watching Derrick Rose closely and I see a close resemblance to the early D.Wade (man that sounds weird...). Remember this : "D.Wade splits the defence... again!!!" ?

I can vaguely recall TV images of Oscar R filling it up from the corner. The game was different then, of course, and it seems like he made his living that way (they used to show only a few teams on network TV on Sunday afternoons when I was a young boy. The Bucks were prominent then. So you would have Bucks vs. Knicks, Knicks vs. Lakers, and then a few other teams vs. those two teams. Buffalo. Sometimes the Pistons. Bulls. Many other teams still made their hay in the ABA - wiem, wiem poet jestem).

Rip Hamilton doesn't even bother taking his warm-ups off anymore. Hero to Zero. He just sits at the end of the bench like an after thought. He said he expects he's already played his last game as a Piston. They want him in that Melo/NJ deal as far as I know. So I guess it's a business decision to not play him. He never bitched about getting benched weeks ago. In fact, he was pretty classy about it.
