SQL REPORTING ANALYST


The International IT Centre of Excellence is accountable for field deployment and operation of Microsoft IT services in the field. This function ensures consistent and systematic delivery of applications and infrastructure programs and projects which support the Microsoft businesses internationally. The Global Support Optimization team is looking for a Reporting Analyst to assist in the development and support for its Global data warehouse that provides the International IT organization with reports and data analysis.
This position will be accountable for developing and supporting the Global data warehouse working alongside existing reporting analysts. The requirement is for a high calibre, experienced individual comfortable working across disciplines and organisations to ensure that development activity is executed to the highest standard.

Specific accountabilities include:
Provide development and support of SQL based data warehouse
Create business ready reports using SQL reporting services and ProClarity.
Development and support of OLAP Cubes
Work with peers to determine reporting requirements and best practises relating to report delivery.

MS Analysis Services 2005

Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience designing, developing and administering very large data warehouses
Demonstrated ability working with VLDB
Minimum 3 years experience interpreting business requirements and translating into reports

Language skills:
Fluent verbal and written English
