PR Technology Specialist

Job purpose
Ensures successful promotion of and thought leadership for Microsoft’s corporate image, products and programs with local media and influentials.

Responsibility
Responsible for promotion of Microsoft Image and support Microsoft positive brand awareness as a Social Responsible Company. From PR perspective drive Microsoft Education and Corporate Social Responsibilities Programs. Assisting the subsidiary citizenship cabinet in fulfilling media relations goal. Coordinates PR agency.

Develops and coordinates the execution of the public relations strategy by integrating the individual groups / departments PR plans to ensure a smart, month on month, messaging to the audience.

Ensures continued positive coverage of Microsoft by developing and maintaining relationships with daily and business press. Guarantees all media has access to right persons from Microsoft departments. Tracks media coverage of specific topics to proactively identify and then solve negative coverage.

Requirements:
• Candidates must have at least 2 to 3 years of proven and solid PR experience
• Strong technology orientation combined with experience gathered in PR within IT sector
• Analytical skills
• Project co-ordination abilities
• Extensive communication skills
• Experience in cooperation with external agencies or PR agency experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products is strongly advised.
