For eight years I worked in Ibis Budget and Ibis Hotels in Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester. Duties included: training and managing teams of up to 16 people; managing the cost of sales for hotels’ busy restaurants; providing excellent customer service; finding new corporate clients and managing accounts and invoicing; general reception duties – dealing with reservations and cancellations over the phone, email and online system; encouraging guests’ loyalty by selling Ibis Business Cards - in 2015 I reached over 3 times my personal target for the card sales.
