1. Someone has to shine on the big silver screen,
I read in "Time" today that Angelina Jolie is a "salt" or "Femnismo"
Tom is like that only male, I guess :P

2. IKEA - There is a song that was realeased as a free podcast
in a radio station that its "A store for college kids and divorce man." :)

3. Too spicy for me but there are restaurants which hold too many secrets
to copy them at home.

4. Unless you install it properly it will always fail you :P

5. Visit less often or read Seth Godin instead, he is a blogging machine

1. Tom Cruise: true Thetan or just a cretin?
I don't know him, of course, and I haven't even seen any of his films. I don't like what he broadcasted about a woman's medical treatment plan for a serious case of post-partum depression. He should keep his bullshit to himself in that case. Flaky.
2. IKEA - furniture we love to hate?
I don't dig IKEA. I don't even appreciate it. But I would buy it if that was "the plan." :)
3. Indian food - can't replicate it properly at home. Can you?
It's hard to get saffron. I can get some good curry making materials. My sister shared a na'an idea that a chef in Chicago told her about. In the end, though, probably not. What's with their desserts, btw? :)
4. Can you buy an electricity socket in Poland which doesn't fall off the wall after 2 days?
Dunno. I hope people have good fire escape plans. Those electrical things can go bad, and btw drunk people don't always drink themselves to death or get into car accidents. They also burn their homes down.
5. Am getting bored with GL - what can I do?
Buy a small boat and use your PC for an anchor. :)

Don't know that much about him. However scientologists strike me as being pretty dim. Well unless you happen to be the founder of the organisation and have people pay you to reveal the secrets of life the universe and everything.
2. IKEA - furniture we love to hate?

Never been to IKEA.
3. Indian food - can't replicate it properly at home. Can you?

You won't get much of a response from this in Poland. I don't believe Indian food to be that popular here.

I believe I can.

I do better than the (crap) local Indian restaurant.

You need the right ingredients which are sometimes difficult to obtain in PL.
4. Can you buy an electricity socket in Poland which doesn't fall off the wall after 2 days?

Probably not.
5. Am getting bored with GL - what can I do?

It's not so popular these days.

Which is good for me as I spend less of my time here.

GL is still preferable to facebook which is entirely vacuous as far as I'm concerned.

You could get into a few arguments and then start purging your enemies.

You could join the wonderful Anglospace group which is pretty moribund at time of writing.

Furniture we can afford.

I've never tried making curry at home, but knowing my cooking skills I would probably fail. Which is a shame... I may have said it before, but curry is THE high point of all my UK trips. Next one coming soon!

Or Titans. Larger than heroes. Immortal men even

I love the concept? The idea of making people assemble furniture at home? Of searching for new functionalities and employing designers to make cheap and simple things charming? I think this idea can further be refined.

3. Indian food - can't replicate it properly at home. Can you?

I cannot replicate Vietnamese food either. I eat in an ugly booth where they have marvelous chicken cutlets, crispier and tastier than Kentucky Fried and half that price, and am fed to the brim.

Do not pull the cord, lazy man. Pull the plug.
I prefer Polish to British sockets, somehow when pulling a tight plug I often succeeded in electrocuting myself by wedging my fingertips between plug and socket and touching contacts when they were still powered.

There is a chat service where you use morse code. Ha... ha...

In fact... it exists and is quite popular.

Neither :) I don't care much for him :P

Scandinavian shade of furniture is not made for temperate zone sun. Sunlight in every zone of a climate has different color shade, temperature of the color. So temperature of the sunlight in Poland is much higher in K degrees than in Sweden or Norway. Therefore steel grey, light blue or very light pinewood colors commonly met at Ikea design are mistake for our zone.

This is why I just don't like it. I dislike it very much. I hate it.

I can. I cook it because my Indian friends told me how and my Indian friends like when I cook :) Chicken tandoori takes a lot of time, but I can do it :) And much more...

Yes you can, you must make sure to buy a guy to make sure it doesn't fall out after 2 days :P

Earn. For example add to your every post a signature with address of the webpage that sells your courses.
But in general you shouldn`t worry, it is GL`s problem that you`re getting bored with it, not yours.

Not a bad actor although hasn't done anything really interesting recently. As a person... well, I don't trust anyone who believes in supreme powers, be it gods or scientology. Amen.

IKEA is good for a start. I own two pieces of IKEA furniture - a clever desk and a bookcase. Can't say I love them, they were just nicely priced :)

No but I wish I could! I do miss a good Indian restaurant in my area. Remember the one we went to in Warsaw? I liked it a lot!
