Head - Project Onboarding and Sourcing
As a Head – Service Onboarding and Sourcing department reporting directly to the Head of the Global IT Center, I lead a strategic organizational shift that transforms ABB Global IT Centers sourcing and delivery model. This is being achieved by remodeling an existing form of collaboration with external partners into a fully-service oriented, SLA driven, multi-vendor outsourced model.
This role involves leading a department that provides outsourcing strategy, advisory services and day-to-day management for around 400 external consultants, multiple projects and services.
Responsibilities:
• Directed a department providing outsourcing strategy, advisory services and day-to-day management for 400+ external consultants, multiple projects and services.
• Responsible for developing and implementing ABB wide strategic outsourcing competence initiative, comprising of global methodology and outsourcing leadership development.
• As a member of a core Global IS transformation program I co-create outsourcing strategy for 2 global and 4 regional shared services centers to increase cost effectiveness and operational excellence.
• Monitor multiple projects to ensure project execution is aligned with the offer and contract
• Lead business negotiations concerning offer and contract content
• Own the daily relationship/communication with external vendors and owners for assigned clients/projects
• Vendor performance management - monitor factors such as delivery reliability, quality and accuracy of estimates and invoices.
• Plan and develop strategy for IT outsourcing to meet business objectives
• Evaluate and select service providers best suited to meet IT outsourcing objectives
• Formulate and negotiate IT outsourcing contracts to meet outsourcing objectives
• Manage relationships with service providers to ensure that outsourcing contracts are successfully executed
• Identify competency gaps, watch emerging technology trends to maintain and extend the existing network of existing service providers to be able to handle internal demand.

Product Owner of www.abb.com web platform with 3 millions unique users/month and more than 10 mil page views/month. Portal covers majority of ABB (150k employees, Fortune 200) web presence.
My main responsibility was to build the best web platform covering the full spectrum of ABB web presence. I was responsible as well for several supporting projects and products like internal blogging platform, ABB careers portal etc.
I accomplished theses tasks by having a solid understanding of users and stakeholders, the business environment, the competition and of future trends for the domain or type of system being developed.
• As a Product Manager of company's Web portal, developed and implemented ABB global strategy to enhance site user experience, performance and usability.
• Led the development of the core Content Management System powering ABB.COM to provide a state-of-art solution to hundreds of ABB web editors across the globe.
• Cooperate with high-level corporate executives to drive web projects development in line with ABB digital strategy.
• Built and led a 20-member team, comprised of developers, user interaction designers, testers and graphic designers, as well as collaborating with other internal teams and external agencies.
• Served as liaison for corporate functions that include branding, editorial and digital communication.
• Managed projects that meet stakeholder objectives and provide key elements to facilitate and improve business and technology performance.
• Developed strategies for project timeframes, determining development and functional quality benchmarks and defining releases and sprint goals.
• Broadened usage of web analytics and other data points to establish a truly data-driven decision making digital development process.
• Established overall product vision that was transmitted to team members, generating buy-in with management and other stakeholders
• Created and maintained the product backlog, continuously identifying areas of improvement and prioritizing per management request.
