❖ Able to contribute to the operation of quality control on site by preparing and implementing components of quality control plans and procedures according to international standards. ❖ Coordination of non-destructive testing teams and review of non-destructive testing reports. ❖ Monitoring welder performance and conducting visual inspection of welds and repair of welds in accordance with company procedures and international codes of practice. ❖ Preparation and establishment of welding procedure specification as per ASME Sec IX and PQR for jobs as per project specifications and verify welders to meet WPS requirements ❖ Conducting fit up and dimensional inspection as per inspection test plan (ITP) and provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control. ❖ Preparation of Quality control reports like Weld summary, Preparation of daily welding report, welder wise production report and weld repair rates of each welder. ❖ Verification of applicability of the WPS for the subject work, check the compliance with regard to preheat, consumables and welding parameters etc. ❖ Perform “Hold” “Witness “and “Surveillance” Inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with MEW requirements and project specifications
❖ Mechanical Walkdown of various systems and release for pressure test
❖ Preparation of test packages and carrying out pressure tests as per client’s requirement.
❖ As Built Drawing preparation and verification. ❖ Write weekly inspection reports and initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs), worksheets (WSs) as needed ❖ Monitor contractor’s quality systems, records and quality personnel for compliance with requirements.

Receive advice and support from the Quality Managers for the development, implementation, review and revision of Quality Execution Plan attachments.
❖ Ensure the effective implementation of the quality system procedure
❖ Fit-up prior to full welding and ensure that only qualified welders are allowed to perform in accordance with the approved WPS.
❖ Conducting Tool Box meeting to the welders and helpers.
❖ Verify material and equipment received is in accordance purchase order and specification requirements.
❖ Conduct WQT as per Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
❖ Reviewing of all welding procedures and ensuring that proper WPS is used in the on job parameters. Visual examination of all welds and carrying out proper NDE as per customer approved NDE plan.
❖ Carrying out all stage wise inspection activities in the ongoing job, and ensuring that all the operations being carried out in the site are as per approved standards and codes.
❖ Piping Spool (CS,SS, P91, P22, P11) Pre-fabrication and erection inspection activities.
❖ Monitoring and witnessing NDT, PWHT activities and reviewing reports, films, charts.
❖ Review of Line/Weld History sheet as per approved drawings
❖ Provide Reports to management on Quality performance
❖ Report quality related matters to contractor Engineers, Project Managers and QMD along with DPR (Daily Progress Report).
❖ Ensure that all employees are made aware of the PPE’s.
❖ Performing NDE to pipe support welds, evaluate, and make reports.
❖ To submit inspection requests in coordination with concerned site/project Engineers.
❖ Ensure measurement instruments and equipments used for welding are suitable and calibrated.
❖ Preparation of Welder Performance Certificates and monitoring individual performance of the welders.

❖ Incoming material inspection for the onshore fabrication works
❖ Inspection of Fit-up and weld.
❖ Preparation of Fit-up and Weld reports of the respective days.
❖ Ensuring that welding is done according to the specified WPS
❖ Checking and verification of PWHT charts and reports.
❖ Preparation of RT reports
❖ Evaluation of PAUT reports and ensuring that the repairs are attended in the correct way
❖ Assigning joints for LPT test according to the weld type
❖ Performing hardness test and report preparation.
❖ Preparation of Line History Sheet of the platforms.
❖ Preparation of handover list of the spools and make sure that the spools are handed over perfectly as per client’s instructions.
❖ RT film interpretation.
❖ Monitoring of the Welder Performance Qualification Tests.
❖ Carrying out Mechanical Tests and PMI with the presence of Client Representative
❖ Compile and maintain quality records.
❖ Responsible for timely execution of QC activities
