You can't have a thread with "industrial" mentioned in it without COD! Well, at least not when I'm around... :)
Their first few CD's were so-so, but I was really amazed when I've heard the "Disengage" album. It was so fuckin' fresh at the time, now seriously! I was starting to get bored with the usual rock and metal bands of the time and then this one dude named Scott Albert (nowadays known as Klayton) came and blew me away with his music!
Right now he's leading another industrial project of his, the "one man band" named Celldweller. Pure genius! It's very similar to the album I'm recommending right now, so if you like it - be sure to give Celldweller a try.
Seriously, this guy mixes up genres of music like electronic, rock, metal, rap and whatnot... and fits them together so fuckin' well that it makes my head hurt!

Didn't know this band earlier to tell you the truth, the song is fuck-awesome, I'll have to check them more thoroughly sometimes later. Really, really good stuff IMHO.

I liked the instrumentals, the vocal sounded pretty fine to me, but the lyrics... Well, I did find a few tracks to my liking, but most of them were rather, uhm... Cheesy? So yeah, I don't think I'll be getting into them anytime soon. Still, the provided video was quite nice, so thank you!

I know what you mean, there's a shitload of bands I'll absolutely HAVE to check and there's never enough time to do that. It isn't a problem when a given band released one to three albums, but if they spit out a new CD each single year, shit gets pretty rough - and of course each and single fan will recommend some other track to really "define the band", blah.

I like to believe that most of us had this experience of writing something and then throwing it away with the usual trash or putting it into the bottom of a drawer. Once I wanted to write fantasy novels, so I put one short story of mine on the Internet for everyone to see. Didn't get a single positive comment and the feedback gave me a lot of shit, so I figured I'm not really as "artsy" as I've thought myself to be. :)
As for the text posted, you can shoot at me for heresy, but I dare say it would be more fitting for hardcore rap or a music style that blends rap into it. Seriously, read it out aloud in a very fast manner - sounds pretty good!
