For our Client, an international supplier of complete solutions, based on best-of-breed applications for Supply Chain Planning, Global Order Management and Global Supply Management. For the newly opened office in Warsaw, we are urgently looking for an:Application Support Consultant

Your Role:
You will be a member of our Client's Global Support organization reporting to the customer support manager, You will be responsible for setting up the support around the Company's new generation of products. Step one would be to learn the products in depth, step two to pass this knowledge onto new members of the support team.
The day to day work will also include:
•Support case handling,
•Solving support issues and dispatching cases within the organization,
•Supporting customers with workarounds for bugs,
•Running batches,
•Operations of the company application.
In order to be able to achieve the above, you will have to learn the Company's product in depth as well as the Customer’s requirements. Therefore, you will initially spend 3-6 months in Sweden or the UK. After this you will be located in Warsaw.

Your Profile:
•More than 5 years professional experience of application development and implementation involving technologies as XML, XSLT, SQL and J2EE,
•M. Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent level of education,
•A genuine interest in understanding customer needs and delivering high quality service,
•Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, other languages will be a plus,
•Experience from Global Supply Chain Management Solutions and ERP systems is most valuable,
•Database (modeling, SQL, programming) skills,
•Java EE (web services, JSF) skills,
•Experience with: JBoss, WAS, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Eclipse,
•We see you as self driven, outgoing,result oriented with a high energy level, strong motivation as well as having good social skills.
