Barbara Pilecka

As an executive assistant at Pilab I was involved in all activities supporting CEO and Board Members. Managing the day-to day operations of the office, organizing and maintaining files and records, managing projects and conducting research, preparing and editing correspondence, reports and presentations and making travel arrangements. However, due to fact that company was at early stage – startup phase, I was involved in several other activities and initially I was supporting sales department building bid packages for public and commercial tenders (three tenders submitted and one successful), consulting marketing activities and materials. I was also responsible for building all company procedures relating to office management.

Pilab S.A is a high-tech company listed on public market at New Connect (Part of Warsaw Stock Exchange) and it specializes in Big Data. As an office manager at Pilab I was responsible for overseeing and execution of task related to functioning of firm including: organization of office operations and procedures, managing relationships with vendor, service providers and landlord, partnering with Hr, Finance and Board members coordinating and executing strategic company decisions. Main achievements include: three successful efficient company relocations; preparation of application form for “Go Global” project to National Centre of Research and Development in Poland, resulted in grant award, final settlement of project. Participation in the European Union project "Support to obtain the protection of industrial property". Role in the project: current settlement of project - preparation of proposals of settlement, project in progress documentation. Additional activities while in Pilab include: supervision and training of new office team members, acting as Administrator of Information security and monitoring compliance with the provisions of the personal data protection; regular stock exchange reporting including quarterly and annual financial result, legal compliance review and contract negotiation.

During my studies I have worked at CCIG as Telesales Consultant for Orange. I was responsible for direct communication with individual and business customers via phone and live chat to present and sell products of Orange and at the same time answering client needs. I have learned how to effectively communicate and negotiate and build my self-confidence
