• Serve as liaison between the customer and PGW personnel and systems to ensure the voice and needs of the customer are heard and acted upon
• Utilize both internal and external functions and resources to capitalize on program deliverables
• Provide weekly/monthly updates to senior management as outlined in the OEM Product Development & Launch Process to communicate launch status, mitigate risks and ensure successful
• Responsible for customer product development processes from prototype through program launches to ensure customer requirements are met in both service and quality
• Ensures compliance to all ISO/TS16949 requirements for all programs under management
• On time gate review/approval, with program scorecard metrics in good standing
• Successful transfer of program accountability to the responsible manufacturing facility at the final gate review of the launch process

• Successful launch and ramp-up of all European programs
• Leading Plant preparation (Supply Chain and Purchasing, Quality and Process Engineering Departments) for new products implementation
• Supervising group of Product Development Team Leaders to ensure efficient product development management and supervision over product documentation (including Timeline, BOM, Budget and Specification) and engineering changes
• Develop, implement and control spending for both capital and expense budgets for new products development
• Act as the local resource for providing new product quotes

• Successful launch and ramp-up of all Value Add European programs
• Value Added process equipment that successfully passes an OEM customer run at rate and meets all customer process capability requirements to blueprint specifications
• Quick response support to European customer spills by providing on-site engineering recommendations in a timely manner
• Improved European OEM launches where the production lines are designed for manufacturability in both the PGW and Tier 2 facilities
• Complete PFMEAs, Control Plans and Process Flow Diagrams for all Value Add processes that address all potential quality issues and include a risk reduction plan
• Enhanced customer perception by minimizing customer complaints, handling all customer issues with a sense of urgency and providing immediate support to any customer crisis situations to maintain existing business and be the preferred OEM glass partner
• Equipment vendors management so that key milestones are met over the course of a capital project
• Program Management and OEM customers direct support to assure that equipment is designed to meet all customer specifications

• New product development and preparation for serial production including Project Timeline depending on Customer Milestones, Bill of Material, Technical documentation and Budget for development, validation and production Start-up
• Supervision over engineering changes in products both in development and serial production
• Leading a Product Development Team involving Quality Department, Process Engineering and Logistics
• Customer support in product robustness improvement
• Cooperation with Company HQ, Program Management and Customer on creating Best Practice and New Product Guidelines
• Product optimization in terms of costs and technology

• Technical development of textile part of Airbag from concept phase into serial production
• Definition, coordination and monitoring of prototypes preparation
• Defining final performance of the textile cushion in Airbag Module (function, cost target, integrity)
• Preparation, coordination and documentation of engineering tasks related to product development
• Communication with customer and suppliers in technical issues
• Coordination of preparation of project documentation
• Finding most efficient technical solution
