* Manage the liaison to the CAD Engineering community
* Lead CAD harmonization projects within the organization
* License management (Siemens, AutoDesk, CAD Schroer)
* Development and administration of CAD templates (parts, drawings, symbols)
* Development and administration of Sulzer specific applications / tools in CAD systems
* Testing and validation of new CAD versions and approval for upgrade
* Testing and validation of Windchill integration
* Support standardization activities in CAD user community
* Coordination of software installation
* Troubleshooting for errors, contact person between Sulzer and CAD vendor
* Organization of trainings
* Administration of 3D standard parts
* Develop and maintain CAD related user instructions
* CAD/PDM integration
* Maitein K-users CAD organiztions

Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Implement and support the CAD/PDM users, projects and processes within the site, regionally
and globally
• Implement and support CAD/PDM global strategy within the site and regionally
• Ensure efficient use of relevant and agreed systems, i.e. PDM & CAD within Technology by
proposing and providing proper IT solutions
• Participate in regional/global teams for CAD/PDM/CAE
• Support and deliver training plans
• Drive and suggest improvements to common ways and processes within the region through
training, support & coaching of local teams, i.e. project teams and line organization
• Support/drive implementation of PLM initiatives at the site and regionally in coordination with
regional responsible and other sites
• Recognize areas of improvement and drive the implementation in Global systems.

 Responsibility & Authority 

 Prepares the CAD/PDM training sessions and organizes them.
 Knowladge and skills of the different VCE CAD systems (CATIA/ Solid Edge/Pro-E …)
 Participates to the CAD&PDM maintenance meeting within VCE organization.
 Responsible to implement the VCE processes.
 Measured and testing of CAD|PDM application – make a performance tests.
 Manages all PDM systems. (PRIME / WindChill / VPM / PROST… )
 To participate in the development and implementation of new CAD/ system.
 To answer questions. provide expertise around issues affecting the CAD/PDM area.
 To ensure that staff are trained when implementing tools and working methods.
 To participate in the development of practices in the area of CAD.
 To participate in the global project for methods i.e machined/welded parts.
 To support the users in their daily work.
