Observability and Monitoring Tools Lead

For our customer, leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation we are looking for a Observability and Monitoring Tools Lead who will work on a project for a financial sector. This individual will be responsible for development, implementation, and enhancement of observability and monitoring solutions. Your focus will be on improving operational effectiveness and fostering business growth.

 

Project information:

  • Location: Katowice, Kraków, Gdańsk, Opole, Poznań, Wrocław, Lublin, Warszawa (one of the location to choose - hybrid model of work)
  • Type of employment: contract of employment

  • Contract length: Indefinite/ long-term
  • Start date: depending on candidate"s availability

Your daily tasks:

  • Enhancing operational stability and boosting the accessibility of tools.
  • Incorporating new functionality by integrating concepts and executing deployments.
  • Providing a generic automation roadmap for accounts using customer-owned tools.
  • Ensuring delivery within budget constraints and adhering to year-over-year savings targets.
  • Identification of risks and issues, devising mitigation plans for tool operations.
  • Conducting regular weekly and monthly project reviews to monitor progress against plans.
  • Holding quarterly program reviews with business stakeholders during Steering Committee meetings.
  • Developing mock portals and simulators for conducting demonstration sessions with potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a leadership role overseeing tools management, infrastructure/cloud solutions, or delivery for a minimum of five years.
  • Previous engagement management or account relationship experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Zabbix/Opsview and SPLUNK platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Splunk integration, net SNMP, Add-ons, and capability to develop NEAPs.
  • Familiarity with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Global System Integrators (SI)/outsourcing firms.
  • Knowledgeable about ServiceNow, scripting, and automation techniques.
  • Knowledge about utilizing AIOps tools encompassing automation, analytics, ITSM, and observability.
  • Proven track record of leading change management initiatives, involving engaging with customers and on-site delivery leads to transition towards tools-oriented delivery approaches.

 

Nice to have:

  • Content creation and creative presentation skills.
  • Certified in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) tools.
  • Skilled in conducting webinars, roadshows, and hosting external exhibits with expertise.
