MSSQL Database Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing efficient database structures and schemas that meet the application requirements.
  • Understanding of the business needs, and data models, and translating them into well-designed database objects.
  • Analyzing query execution plans, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations like index creation, query rewriting, and performance tuning.
  • Developing, introducing, and providing of standard procedures and concepts for the database products according to existing specifications
  • Implementation of quality assurance and optimization measures (failover tests, etc.)
  • 2nd&3rd level support in case of disruptions of the product operation for the database products, troubleshooting lfd. 
  • Maintaining proper documentation of the database design, schema, and changes made to the database objects.

Requirements:

  • A good specialist in MSSQL and a developer.
  • Programming and maintenance of the SCOM interface.
  • Provide 3rd-level support in MS_SQL 2016/19/22 HADR.
  • The archiving tool is a must: TSM /IBM Spectrum protect.
  • IBM Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager.
  • On-call during nights and weekend, support needed
  • Hashicorp code would be nice but not a must.
