Position: Laser Welding Engineer (Laserschweissenkoordinierung)

Responsibilities:

- participate in one of main projects in Bombardier Transportation/DB & Siemens : ICx/ ICE4,

- maintaining welds quality at the highest level,

- creating of laser welding technology from pWPSs, WPQR (all tests acc to ISO 15614-11) and final WPS,

- providing of welding technology complies with railway standard EN 15085

-contact with the customer (DB) and responsibility of the STBP T2 (Schweißtechnische Bauweisenprüfung) audit of release products for serial production

- preparing of test samples, prototyping, plan of testing, interpretation of test results, adjustment of welding parameters,

- practise of VT testing of test samles and complete welding assemblies acc to ISO 13919-1,

- supervising of welds repairs,

- certification of Laser Welding Operators acc to ISO 14732,

- cooperation with others laser teams from Germany,

- supporting of others functions

Responsibilities:
- participate in one of main projects in Bombardier Transportation Wroclaw: ICx

- cooperation with Engineering and Methods teams, which are located in Germany,

- participation in Change Board Meetings,

- creating of Change Requests regarding to optimalize of process and Cost Reduction,

- implementation of new documentation into Production,

- manage of last engineering documentations,

- supporting of our Methods team and others functions (e.g. Purchasing dept.),

• Designing new welded structures (design and modify 3D models and drawings using CAD/PDM systems)
• Redesigning existing solutions,
• Ordering prototyping and testing,
• Choosing the optimum solution in terms of cost and manufacturing,
• Preparation of part specifications,

• Participation in cost reduction projects and KAIZEN events,
