BSc Thesis : Solutions improving quality of the use of a wheelchair.
The aim of this engineering thesis was to prepare a model of the damping wheel for a wheelchair. The research was performed in Autodesk Inventor program involving computational methods like FEM and dynamic simulations. The first step was to create a section of the rim wheel. Before stress analysis, the finite element mesh was generated and applied to the model. The results of stress distribution were compared for different materials. The next step was the dynamic analysis. Spring stiffness and damping coefficient were chosen.
