Successfully taken responsibility for achieving $225 million license pipeline to secure incremental growth of SAP in Central Europe. Created Industry Development Plan 2008-2009 and contributed to 2009 -2012 Game Plan to justify multi-million investments in SAP Central Europe. Nominated to take responsibility for two crucial regional programs: EU Funds and Industries Development , that are now main source of revenue income in CEE.

Thanks to efforts of whole CEE Team following results have been achieved:
• 2010: 90% of full year target already achieved till the end of Q3. Signings of biggest deal with Ministry of Defense and ZUS ( Social Security Authority) in Poland;
• 160% regional target overachievement in 2009, 130% in 2008;
• 340% growth of public sector sales and revenue YtY 2008 to 2007 (despite the world financial crisis);
• Transformation of Public Sector Central Europe into the top performing sector contributing above 40% in 2008 and 70% in 2009 to CEE revenue, #1 in EMEA in case of target overachievement. Since June 2008, CEE Team won the biggest SAP contracts ever in history of Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia (Ministry of Finance), Hungary (Defense) and Poland ( e-Justice) financed by international funds;
• Identified new submarkets and opportunities, built needed capabilities, developed and won business in new areas (E-Justice, Tax &Revenue Management, Public Security), build strategy based on utilizing EU funds that allowed triple-digit growth.
In 2009 promoted to SAP Industry Business Services EMEA& India Team, focusing mainly on supporting CEE and CIS countries’ activities in public sector and taken responsibility for EU Funds. In 2010 nominated to TOP Talent Group.

– Romania: Schengen, Cadastre and E-government;
– Czech: Biometric systems, Customs projects in Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania, and Russia;

• Supplier Leadership – Positioned IBM GBS CEE Public Sector as a leading and innovative supplier of tax, customs, defense and homeland security solutions for government agencies in CEE countries.
• International Partnerships – Personally involved in selling and supervising complex and innovative projects/solutions, with an emphasis on building partner relationships (SAP, SBS, Oracle, Motorola).
– Negotiated international consortium and partnership agreements for several international deals exceeding $300 million in total value.
– Gained participation of global and international companies from the U.S., U.K., Netherlands, Ireland, Israel, France, Greece, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, and CEE countries.

• Cost Restructuring & Organizational Culture Change – Executed cost restructuring for 18% reduction of subcontracting services of $360 million CEMAAS GBS organization in 2007.
– Changed organizational culture to maintain reduction. Replaced subcontractors with internal consultants and professionals, which enabled increased utilization and the creation of more than 100 new headcounts as well utilization of Indian offshore professionals.

• Profit Per Employee – Generated more than $200,000 year profit per employee, which is far above the services industry standard.

• Conferences, Forums & Presentations – Continually serve as a guest speaker and participant at public sector forums and conferences attended by worldwide political and business leaders, including Presidents, Prime Ministers, Minister, Parliament Members of Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Tartarstan, Croatia, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovenia, and Ambassadors including U.S. and Australia.

• Project Turnarounds – Took over and turned around several troubled projects, including a Romanian Land Registry/Cadatre with risk of $2 million loss. Assembled delivery team, negotiated new terms and conditions with customer and subcontracts, and delivered project at a profit; customer signed multimillion-dollar follow-up contract (roll out in the entire country).

Identified opportunities and created strategies for generating new business in Poland (resulting from accession of Poland to NATO) for this $5 billion worldwide IT consulting services and solutions company that is focused on the government market. Recognized as the Defense High Tech Expert on the market.

• Marketing Materials & Exhibition – Prepared marketing documents and an exhibition of UNISYS, BAE, Marconi, and General Dynamics for the largest International Defense Fair in CEE; exhibition was awarded as “the best and most innovative”, and had been viewed by the Prime Minister, ministers, and defense VIPs.

• Key Contract Wins – Performed a key role in developing proposals and winning contracts:
– Participated in preparing proposal that resulted in the win of a $10 million Command and Control project for police (including Motorola Tetra communication, Video Surveillance, and GIS Accident Management);
– Managed the signing of prestigious contracts for the connection of 10 ministries and defense organizations to NATO network and IT systems by establishing a Security Department, and achieving a secret level National Security Clearance and Export License;

Led the design, development, and implementation of IT systems to support the Ministry of Defense and other Polish government institutions for this government agency (largest software house in Poland with three datacenters); organization builds and operates main IT and telecommunication systems (including top secret) of Polish Defense. Conducted research on software and technology for IT projects, analyzed, consulted, and advised methods, standards, and technology for IT projects on the ministry level, and recommended IT solutions for the Polish Army. Managed a team of 20 highly educated professionals, including senior officers (up to the Colonel level).

• Cycle Reduction – Reduced development cycle in half by leveraging new software engineering tools and generators (LBMS, SYNON, MAGIC) to develop systems.

• Command/Control Combat System – Conceptualized the design of a Command/Control Combat automated system for Signal and Communications Troops of the Polish Army in the biggest transformation of defense due to NATO accession. Managed a team of 30 subcontractors in the design of a distributed multilevel system with real time elements, and connection of textual and relational databases.

• IT Solutions – Built IT solutions and delivered them on time and within budget; sold solutions nationwide internally for military forces serving 120,000 soldiers, and externally for government. IT solutions included:
– Electronic Document Exchange System for General Staff of Armed Forces , Ministry of Defense, Anti-Crisis Centre and Logistic Department;
– ERP Logistics and Allocation Resources systems reduction of maintenance cost) for the Logistic Department of the Ministry of Defense;
– Recruiting Management System for Ministry of Defence;
– Management Information Systems for Diocesan Curia of General Bishop of Polish Army and Board of International Transport;
– Allocation of call signs/radio addresses for Polish Armed Forces ;
– Vehicle Registering System (regional and communal level) that was certified and recommended by Ministry of Transportation;
– Office Automation and Correspondence Flow System for Bureau of Polish Ombudsman (user-friendly system that reduced analysis of case response time from three months to less than 20 days.

• NATO – Represented the Polish Army in NATO C3A Open Systems Working Group.
