Please note: This programme in run in partnership with The Change Network as an introductory course to their Leadership Foundations programme - an internationally accredited course run in 6 countries around the world, including Ireland and the UK.

PROGRAMME:

The course focuses on transformational leadership.

The concepts introduced in the programme are taken from a wide variety of academic disciplines including psychology, organisational learning and behaviour, philosophy and leadership. These models are used as a springboard to understanding ourselves and the leadership context.

In this 2-day training program we will be helping you develop the skills required to lead effectively.

A hands-on programme that uses experiential learning and offers an insight towards:

Great communication and the power of dialogue
Developing awareness
Decision making and impact
Leadership styles
Planning, teamwork & delegation

The programme is delivered through a mixture of facilitated sessions, practical team tasks and small group reviews.

TRAINERS:

Ananda Harrison has been CEO of the Change since September 2010, guiding the organization through a period of great change, and great opportunity. She is an accredited Course Director with 3 years experience of facilitating transformational leadership programs with Lucca Leadership, and now the Change.

WHO SHOULD APPLY:

We are looking for young professionals and social entrepreneurs who can demonstrate a commitment to making a difference in their communities, workplaces and families. Our programme targets individuals who believe in service, people who want to change the world in whatever way they can.

Application criteria:

Candidates are aged 18-35
Good command of the English language
A cover letter demonstrating evidence of commitment to the development of your own community or society, through schemes, projects or individual action

Talenta are offering a small number of bursaries for applicants unable to raise the full course fee.
