The company Badec S.A. was established some 31 years ago (in 1985) by Anna and Krassimir Banov. In the beginning we began with the production of decorative clocks for the home and in 1992 we started also the production of wristwatches. The attractive design and excellent quality, combined with our pricing policy resulted in a quick establishment of the BADEC brand watches on the Swiss market. Very soon Badec S.A. began exporting watches under the BADEC brand to Russia, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Hungary, and other countries. To promote its exports and presence on foreign markets, Badec S.A. participated in international exhibitions and fairs in Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, China. Today the BADEC brand watches are sold in over 30 shops in Geneva, Berne, Interlaken and Luzern - the main tourist destinations of Switzerland.
Badec S.A. sells its watches also under two other brands « CH Badec-Genève » and « CH Army ». These two brands are registered intellectual property of Badec S.A.
Badec S.A. has a positive balance sheet and has no debt to private persons, nor has the company outstanding payments to suppliers or government institutions and the administration.
In Geneva, Badec S.A. has its shop in a commercial property, that the company is renting since 19 years.
At present Badec S.A. has a stock of about 8,000 watches with a total value of over Euro one million (at wholesale price). This stock comprises more than 60 models of men’s and lady’s watches. Each model exists in 2-3 colours, (steel, bi-colour, gold plated, pink gold, black PVD and others. There is also one titanium model.
The watches are with leather or steel or rubber bracelets.
The watches have automatic or quartz movements – both « Swiss made ». There is a large selection of chronographs and watches with lunar phase.
All these various models are marketed under the brands « CH Badec-Genève » and « CH Army » as well as under the lines « Badec Selection » and « Swiss classic collection ».
The watches are sold in seven models of boxes (including three luxury wooden boxes), special packing protection bags, as well as other accessories.
There are two main reasons for selling the company Badec S.A.: first, we, Mrs. and Mr. Banov have reached a certain age, and second, we do not have any family who could take over and further develop this family business.
In summary, the company Badec S.A. offered for sale, will bring the new owners the following:
1. The company Badec S.A., established in 1985, with its good-will and BADEC brand estimated at Euro 500,000
