Temat: Director Supply Chain and Logistics

Our client is an electrical manufacturing company and a part of a
large international industrial group with a well known brand of
products. Due to their dynamic development and expansion in Poland
they are now expanding and consolidating their supply chain and
logistics operation and are looking for a very experienced SCM and
Logistics professional for this challenge.

MISSION
Reporting directly to the CEO of the company and cooperating closely
with other business units you will be responsible for the upgrade,
redesign and maintaining of the whole Supply Chain operation in
order to secure the most effective materials and information flow,
stock optimization, provision of quality service to the clients and
optimization of the overall logistics spend.
Main tasks will include:

Managing of the whole Manufacturing Supply Chain in particular
flow of the materials including commodities, components and ready
products, from the suppliers, through the manufacturing to the
warehousing

Managing distribution and warehousing operations based on the ERP
system and monitoring critical parameters like safety-lock, lead
time, lot size etc.

Set up and management of the management system to control ready
products flow including planning and delivery operations,
warehousing, transportation logistics and fulfillment of the
client’s order

Continuous searching for and implementing of the improvements in
the above areas to match clients’ need, market trends and strategy
and development of the company

Creation and responsibility for department administration, budget
and finance operations

Leading, training and development of the team to establish
excellent levels of customer service

Reporting and analysis

Other tasks as required



REQUIREMENTS
Some of the requirements for this role include: Degree level
education in relevant area (Logistics, Economy or
Engineering/Manufacturing)

Several years exposure to a dynamic high volume manufacturing
environment

5-10 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain,
General Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution

Good IT understanding and good ERP systems experience in both
implementing new or upgrading existing systems and solutions

Good analytical and problem solving skills, god organizational
skills and positive attitude towards change

Confident, good negotiation, presentation and leadership skills,
able to think both strategically as well as do the details

Positive personality and attitude to develop close working
relationships with both regional management and group management

Fluent English, other languages are additional asset
