My daily tasks in the project include:
• cooperation with system specification team and with IC design engineers
• development of software that makes the system work on hardware
• designing software components and documenting it in text and in UML
• working in a multidisciplinary SCRUM team
• quality assurance by peer reviews made with Gerrit
• sole responsibility for implementation of algorithms for LTE gain control loop
• major contribution to implementation of the eMBMS feature
• responsibility for implementation of time and frequency tracking algorithms
• hardware & logical drivers development
• using Git version control system, SVN and ClearCase in the past
• using Eclipse IDE, GDB and Lauterbach in-circuit debuggers
• module test in Matlab
• unit testing
• firmware test on prototype FPGA, in simulated environment and on target
• failures root cause analysis and reporting using a fault reporting system
• customer device on-site bringup

In the past I have contributed to the following Intel modem platforms, and most known products that used it:
• XMM7060, AVM FRITZ!Box 6842 LTE
• XMM7160, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
• XMM7260, Samsung Galaxy Alpha
Intel XMM7x60 family products were used in several tablets from Acer Asus, Dell & Lenovo.

ST-Ericsson, former Ericsson Mobile Platforms was one of the two companies that started early development of the LTE. During that time I was contracted to help Ericsson to speed up development and testing of its prototype device made for proving system concepts.
In particular I was taking care of the following:
• specification and development of interoperability test cases
• LTE Layer 1 to Layer 3 protocol stack testing
• pioneering LTE field tests with Ericsson in Stockholm
• drive testing
• development of tools for geospatial test result presentation
• radio fading resistance test with EB Propsim C8 emulator
• testing with use of vector signal generators, spectrum analyzers, protocol testers and air interface sniffers
• HW/SW setup and maintenance of the Ericsson LTE network equipment
• setup and maintenance of the lab network based on SUSE Linux

I was working on:
• testing the 3G NodeB Layer 1 DSP board processing functionality
• specification and development of test cases using Perl and Bash scripts

My tasks in the project included:
• testing a 3G RNC Layer 2-3 protocol stack software on host
• maintenance and execution of TTCNv3 test case bundles
• development and maintenance of test automation suites using internal automation tools, shell scripting and Perl
• regression testing
• creating reports and statistics of test case execution
