On the top of the leadership duties described in Team Leader position below I am now involved in:
• Leading a team of 9 including 2 team leaders
• Giving the support to the team in providing and interpreting financial information;
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
• Managing a team’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
• Taking part in decission making process in relation to the team and services provided by the
team;
• Analysing and implementing change and advising accordingly;
• Analysing current processes and improve them;
• Managing and taking part in Contionous Improvement projects
• Monitoring team performance;
• Coaching; training; monitoring business continuity;
• Formulating plans, goals and objectives for the team, monitor their achievement;
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
• Developing relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, internal customers, process
leads, etc.

Senior Financial Accountant/Team Leader
• Preparation of month end journals, including accruals, revaluations, equity investment movements and recharges – General Ledger activities
• Perform initial sign-off and resolve Home Office inquiries on trial balance and monthly Management Pack
• Provision of subject matter expertise to complex accounting projects and specialized tasks where the higher level of technical accounting knowledge is required
• Manage title and product reporting (Marketing)
• Conduct performance reviews to assess Balance Sheet risk and conduct Balance Sheet reporting
• Review and approve overhead reporting, local management accounts and variance analysis, and provide Balance Sheet and P&L oversight
• Assist in development of marketing budgets and forecasts with business and operational management
• Work with corporate and indirect tax teams, internal and external audit and resolve audit findings
• Provide ad hoc decision support
• Provide finance skills to Strategic and Business Development Decisions
• Leadership of a territory team of 2, reporting directly to th GBS Manager and Territory Finance Director
• Coaching, Training, Taking part in recruiting team members
• Working and controlling work of others according to local regulatory requirements (IFRS, US GAAP & UK GAAP) and control standards (SOX)
• Participation in territory transition when services were moved to Gdynia
