Support production and preproduction (CERT/QA) regions, supervise and cooperate with remote DBA and OS admin teams. Evaluate and introduce new functionalities of recent release to support business requirements. Proactively tune application on DB side from development stage up to production. Administer all Oracle DBs from dev to prod in every single data center. Support developers in theirs daily tasks. Proactively and re-actively tune DB/application SQLs to improve overall application performance. Apply Oracle patches. Work closely with third party working around Oracle DB (storage, replication etc). Assisting in implementation of GG. Release new versions of application/DB schema. Propose a number of new processes to improve delivery and quality of service. Support external and internal audit processes. Provide review of SQLs used in the application code.
Oracle DBA/Senior Oracle DBA
Working with large booking system, maintain development databases, CERT and proactively monitoring PROD system. Responsible for technical part of development and tuning (proactive and reactive). Responsible for process of implementing changes to PROD system and performance tests on CERT systems. Created a solution used for automatic performance tests.
Working with RAC systems. Working in international environment in different timezones.
