Projects & Partnerships Manager

English Language Outreach project manager (regional project involving 8 countries, main aim of the project is to provide access to high quality learning materials for teachers and learners):
Main duties: planning and delivery of project activities; monitoring of project budget for the region; management of the sharepoint site on the Intranet for the region; managing moodle site for the region; management of the Polish part of Annual Education Fair run jointly with British Council Germany for 27 British universities; management of the European Days of Languages on behalf of the British Council (annual event organised by EUNIC – association of the European cultural institutes)
Open Cities project manager (regional project involving 11 countries in Europe, the project aims to identify the links between migration and cities' competitiveness, with particular emphasis on internationalisation and population strategies.)
Main duties: management of the British Council relationship with City the Councils involved in the project; planning and co-ordination of project activities; working as a member of the city support group; managing British Council project budget.
Web services manager
Main duties: management of the team responsible for British Council Poland web site, e-newsletter, Intranet; member of e-team developing and sharing knowledge of e-tools.
Partner Centres network manager (network run jointly with eight Universities around Poland and a Public Library in Warsaw)
Main duties: budget management, planning and co-ordination of events and activities delivered through the centres, planning and provision of training, management of British Council relationship with partner Universities, negotiating partner centres agreements.
2003-2007 - Head of Information Services
Main duties:
- management of the team responsible for British Council Poland web site, e-newsletter, Intranet;
- management of the British Council customer services (library, reception, information centre);
- management of the partner centres network (training planning and provision, activities planning and co-ordination, liaisons with partner universities, re-negotiation of agreements)
2000-2003 – Information Services Manager
Main duties:
- management of the British Council Information Centre and the Library (day to day management, activities planning, budget and income management);
- editing British Council e-newsletter
- planning and provision of training for the partner libraries network
1992-2000 – Information Officer
Main duties:
- DIALOG service – on-line database searching (paid services provided for academics);
- information provision on UK education
- management of international document supply service from the British Library
1991-1992 – Information Assistant
Main duties:
- information provision on UK education;
- general information on the British Council and the UK.
