Junior AP Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate processing of specific accounting transactions using ERP system for  Accounts Payable
  
• Review and submit invoices for approval
  
• Verify invoices with orders and receipts
  
• Investigate discrepancies and take action to resolve with buyers
  
• Analysis of accounting documentation
  
• Assistance in monthly closing
  
• Preparation of reports and analysis on direct supervisor requests
  

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in AP within SSC is an asset
  
• Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent in working experience
  
• Fluency in written and oral English (minimum B1 level) is essential for this role
  
• Extensive knowledge of SAP; advanced knowledge in Excel and Access desired
  
• Strong Accounts Payable/Invoice Processing background
  
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
  
• Driven individual with honesty & integrity
  
• Team oriented person
