EMEA GL Accountant

What you will be responsible for?

• Adhering to a strict closing schedule and reconciling general ledger accounts
  
• Preparing and processing journal entries (e.g. calculation and booking of accruals/provisions)
  
• Cross-checking and uploading financial reports into FDM/HFM
  
• Booking of bank statements and processing other treasury activities (e.g. payment runs, manual payments in bank systems)
  
• Processing of payroll files and payroll reconciliation
  
• Preparing of VAT reports including VAT accounts verification and corrections
  
• Performing Fixed Assets activities (e.g. Fixed Assets reports, FA Accounts reconciliation, Asset master data management, Capitalization of FA, Depreciation Run, Internal Order settlements etc.)
  
• Solving the problems, recognize continuous improvement areas within the process and/or support the implementation as an expert  

What we want you to bring into Delphi?

• Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
  
• At least 3 year experience in Finance & Accounting and minimum 1 year in General Ledger
  
• Fluent English
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Other languages like French, German, Hungarian would be an asset
  
• SAP/QAD knowledge would be an asset
