Hospital Account Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Fosters a trust-based working relationships with key non-clinical customer in selected hospitals centers and understands their level of influencing
  • Understands, in depth, the needs of the different stakeholders in the healthcare environment with special focus on non-clinical hospital’s stakeholders
  • Identifies key accounts with strategic significance – conduct segmentation process per business criteria with stakeholder map
  • Understands issues and priorities of public payer and hospital accounts. Make tradeoffs,      balancing different strategic options and investments and evaluating their potential business impact   in prioritized accounts. As a partner to non-clinical stakeholders (hospitals and payers), seek opportunities to provide services and solutions tailored towards specific needs
  • Builds mix offers for accounts balancing business targets of different franchises (Ethicon, DPS, Spine, CSS)
  • Drive building tender’s strategies by delivering insight from hospital’s non-clinical customers in close cooperation with sales, marketing, tender, pricing and market access
  • Set clear account objectives and strategic plan with consistent performance metrics
  • Leads and shapes new innovative and Value Added solutions on OneMD level
  • Can build a clear value proposition and is accountable for a flawless execution by the organization
  • Brings a concept alive in a strategy
  • Track results through Dashboard, Board reviews or other agreed tools
  • Leader in cultural change; from product to solutions selling
  • Creates culture of a high performing, agile and customer-focused organization by cross-sector cooperation
  • Drive adoption of key processes and practices throughout the business, share and make use of best practice
  • Collaborate with cross franchise (MD&D) and functional partners (sales, marketing, market access, etc.)  and strong regional management endorsement and  involvement
  • Deliver change leadership based on growth strategies, ensuring effective communication and employee engagement
  • Well-developed understanding of J&J products and products value

Our Requirements:

  • Extensive experience non-clinical customer management
  • Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with non-clinical customer  especially from hospitals
  • Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific, health-care, legal  and economic topics
  • Well-developed understanding of payers/regulatory environment, including degree of  market regulation (Health care reforms, Hospitals reforms, local and central   environments)
  • Strong analytical and business partner skills, customer oriented and strategic mindset
  • Strong passion and track record for innovation & will to make things happen &  deliver 
  • Ability to build respect and trust with customers, employees and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Result oriented with strong prioritization skills and accuracy also under pressure
  • Proven ability to manage complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances
  • Ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business  stakeholders in a highly matrixes environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Integrity and Credo-based leadership
  • Self- awareness and adaptability
  • Master or equivalent in business experience
  • Key Account or Sales Management Experience
  • Knowledge of the current market healthcare landscape or environment where  solution selling is the key driver
  • Operational sales experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience working for a mid-size or multinational company
