Chargeback Specialist, Dispute Resolution Department
Chargeback specialist in an acquiring bank in the Dispute Resolution Department. Responsibility for German-, English-speaking countries and Poland. Dealing with retrievals and chargeback cases/disputed card transactions according to the international card association regulations Visa, Mastercard, Laser and American Express. Direct debit or preparation of representments for disputed addendum charges, service charges, fraudulent transactions, invalid authorizations, payments by other means, duplicate transactions, improper transaction amounts, currency differences and canceled recurring card transactions. Direct customer service via E-mail and over the phone (Polish, English and German). Financial consulting for transactions in card present and card absent environments. Cooperation with card issuing banks in the compounds of the complaint process or good faith requests.'Welcome call' procedure: first contact with card acceptors/merchants to explain the existing regulations and rules in relation to their first chargeback. Fraud prevention. Customer service training for other teams- outbound calls and customer consulting. Chargeback trainings. Occasionally translations from Polish or English into German.
