CE Technical Manager (temporary replacement)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and improve supplier performance and factory standards both from the office and at suppliers
• Complete all Technical tasks in product development processes
• Conduct product tests and quality reviews
• Work with suppliers and help them to achieve Tesco Standards and Requirements
• Identify new suppliers, propose potential site and production consolidation
• Track and close all non-conformances by physical control of corrective action plans
• Develop new products, complete specifications and artworks with suppliers
• Manage legislation changes, work with local authorities to ensure that products fulfil relevant regulations
• Handling ad-hoc and special projects
• Provide support to the colleagues in local and CE teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree - Food Technology or Quality Management 
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of local and European legistation
• Experience in manufacturing and/or product development is an advantage
• Computer skills - MS Office
• Cat. B driving licence, no restrictions to travel, readiness to business trips and supplier visits
• Flexible approach, resilience, responsiveness, decision making skills, team work
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Willing to study and learn new things
• Good communication skills and maintain good relationship with all colleagues
