Our Client is a top market leader in the German and European shoe business. They are currently active in 26 countries with about 3,800 local shops and employs approximately 38,252 people.
Due to substantial development they are looking for a regional buyer (Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania), who will be located in the HQ in Germany and who will introduce local suppliers into the organization.
Reporting to Regional Head of Purchasing you will be mostly responsible for:
Ensuring effective product portfolio Sourcing of items for the Polish market in addition to the group wide product portfolio Product sourcing from local manufacturers/traders and additionally on Asian markets Close cooperation with central buying departments in Germany Responsible for local sales promotions in coordination with international buying department Content and pricing of local product portfolio, including quantity planning and price calculation, in close cooperation with international buying department Visiting trade fairs and manufacturers Ongoing market analysis and supplier benchmarking
