Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is responsible for development of custom applications and integrations on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.  It will enhance the connections between marketing systems ensuring seamless integration of marketing systems and data with overall company systems. The individual in this role must be experienced with Marketing Cloud programmatic languages (AMPscript, SSJS), SOAP/REST API and data management. Role Description:

• You will work in a cross functional team of Salesforce Admins and Developers.
• Ideal candidates have a good understanding of internal Salesforce development as well as integrations with external  API’s.  They should be experienced with the full cycle of a software project: conception, development, deployment, and the continuous improvement stage.
• You will take an active role in the entire process from estimation and design to feature rollout and you will work with and pair with other members of the team of all disciplines, BA, Admin, and Developers.
• We build our platform with quality in mind. You will provide Unit Tests to sustain quality and regression.
• Design and develop new functionality based on business requirements and create test classes and perform required testing on new development
• You will be expected to maintain a high level of conduct, ethical standards and values as well as maintain an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training, making requests for updates or development as required

Requirements:

• 2+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) experience is a must
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field desired. MS or other related advanced degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder, Web Studio, Automation Studio and Journey Builder
• Experience working in a regulated industry
• Strong working knowledge of data modeling concepts, relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Extensive experience with ETL, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL, AMPscript, JSON and SOAP/REST APIs
• Understanding of online user experience as it relates to email, content, and conversion
• Proven ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management, organization, and project management skills
• Strong command of English language, both oral and written
• Excellent self-tasking and team work skills
• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer preferred
