As the Salary & Compensation Specialist you will be responsible to manage the global salary and compensation requirements for Global Mobility across the ABB Group. This requires working with complex remuneration and compensation matters as well as being able to benchmark against external references for international salary and benefits.

Tasks:

In this role you will be responsible for

preparing assignment remuneration related calculations (salary calculations for new assignments, salary review, update packages in case of extensions, provide cost estimates, support to local payroll and more)
liaising with different members of the Global Mobility team, local compensation and benefits specialists as well as country HR for relevant data and cross-reference check on information for salary calculations as needed
support in assignment remuneration related projects, benchmarking assignment allowances and benefits against market
reviewing and benchmark global per diem allowances for STA & Project Worker population
providing advice to mobility team on restrictions to delivery of pay, when applicable, related to currency restrictions, market volatility exchange control restrictions etc.
providing additional support to the wider Global Mobility team in managing the assignment case load as and when required

Requirements:

We are looking for you!

A HR professional with experience in Global Mobility
You have a strong understanding of remuneration and compensation matters, combined with excellent numeric and analytical skills
You are used to working in a very international environment and across diverse cultures
You bring excellent communication, organizational, planning and decision making skills
You are delivery focused and able to work to tight deadlines
You are able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
You are fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages preferable
