IT MES Developer

The IT MES Developer is responsible for developing and implementing production monitoring and execution systems in the facility.

Summary of Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• To assist in the implementation and maintenance of production monitoring systems.
• To assist in the design, support and maintenance of computer networks and associated devices.
• Maintain a regular working dialogue with external contractors (ZF and otherwise) to ensure the best outcome for equipment acquisition.
• Analyze, implement and simulate MES solution to design the best fit system
• Solution development using different technologies/languages ie.: JavaScript, Java, SQL or C#
• Implement other protocols and/or mediums to provide communication to PLC and ERP systems.
• Train staff with IT related equipment

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 3-5 years of applicable experience
• Experience with solution design, development and implementation.
• English language skills are mandatory
• Good knowledge: C# or JAVA, JavaScript, web development, or other related technologies/libraries (i.e. JQuery, AngularJS)
• Basic knowledge required in SQL and Service Oriented Architectures
• Ready to travel abroad for training purpose for a period between 2 to 6 months.
