Senior Software Engineer
- Performs coding, unit test authoring and unit test execution for one or more assigned or owned components,
- Assists Lead Software Developer and Development Manager in the generation of technical designs using object-oriented analysis and design techniques,
- Performs code reviews for developers on projects led.
- Assists Global Support, Services, and even sometimes customers and partners on-site or off-site, in diagnosing issues,
- Fixes defects.
- Ability to author detailed designs and solution specifications for product or platform areas while remaining consistent with established architectural guidelines and standards and including the ability to translate functional requirements into a database design for either SQL Server or Oracle,
- Reviews and assists Product Management, Lead Developers, and Architect in defining functional or platform Requirements Specifications,
- Reviews acceptance test criteria from test plans issued by the Quality Assurance team and incorporates into unit test scripts.
