- identify, research and post payments to the appropriate account in the billing system, within 48 hours
- responsible for coordinating accurate application of all wire transfers, EFTs, and online bill payments coming into
- research and resolve payment discrepancies, misapplied, unapplied or missing payments and determine proper application
- research outstanding credit balances and prepare request for refunds
- assist with contacting customers for remittance advice and other follow-up as needed
- experienced in processing all Intercompany transfers
- identified any credits, overpayments or double payments and contacted clients to delegate a timely resolution
- collaborated closely with Collections, accounting and other internal departments to ensure all accounts are being adequately serviced
- assisted in month end ‘clean up’ of any unresolved accounts
