exactly!! I did my teacher training in liceum and it was really nice. well, I'm talking just about working with those students, not about the salary etc.

Seems like Liceum is the winner, tho, in terms of a quality place to work... would that be the case?

Oh, the first classes for both - senior high and junior high are just far more challenging. For the first 4 months they just stare at you, if they are lower level of the practice use.

The matura year gets interested exclusively in passing the final exam, as if there was no day after, and there's a lot of bargaining whether this or that counts during the matura and how many points one can win / lose.

The kids are great, though, and, boy, they can learn.

apart from the whole paper work you have to complete every day, scandalously low salaries, most of the breaks spent looking after kids on the corridors, lack of time to eat lunch, parents' meetings, teachers' meetings, results you have to achieve, successes you need to provide documents for, teachers' professional advancement steps you need to apply for, lack of cooperation between the teachers themselves, the teachers and parents, teachers and headmasters, parents and headmasters, schools and supervising institutions, these institutions and the government, lack of money for teaching aids, lack of motivation in your students, lack of discipline, but on the other hand over-abundance of dysfunctions of any type in them ... teaching is fantastic, rewarding and challenging!

optional: a senior teacher visiting your class and explaining that basically you should go back to neolithic methods of teaching as they will be the only ones accepted in your school. Ever ;)
