Lincoln Square in Chicago, a piece on Joj fireplace in Northern Michigan hehe. Got it from a captain stationed there during that time, but I'm not into it. I kept meaning to give it to my niece to go next to a chunk of salt from Wieliczka. She digs that stuff.

You know... as far as I know, the Eastern Germany built that wall with its taxpayer's money (btw I have no idea if such thing exists/existed in communist regimes)...

In this case, I would claim each and every piece of this wall, and/or force people (who had given the licence of genuinity (?)) to pay back any money earned selling the pieces, and use that money to finance reconstruction bills in the eastern part.

Oh yeah, you can yell: "Heil İlter!" now... permission granted!

I won't 'Heil' anyone ;)

Reconstruction is now being done in Western Germany. The government announced that the money flow will be redirected into the West, since the West is in many parts on a level much lower than the East. Just picture that there was no money in some Western communities for 20years. Talk about roads in Poland!

I guess a nice idea would be to make a museum, collect some pieces of the wall from around the world, like on the BBC webpage, and make an interactive experience out of it.

There is enough material to make didactic computer games, movies, stories, etc. out of it. Do something good with something which was bad once, I say! :)

It relaxed, it moved further East.

And it is in us. The opportunistic post-sovieticus white collars and
their sons and daughters. The styrophoam revolutionaries and their claiming offspring.
And the lost generation, the best of the best who left the country because they valued freedom more than motherland, the last wave in 1980s, still mistrustful of the new democratic order.
