I think this was Guy's point:
GL is made - I guess - to find a job for people, to share opinions about topics, to make new friends, to expand your network ....
It's completely nothing to do with power, with money, with market share.
And this is what I notice: I don't want to judge people here on GL because you are ALL my friends, but I find it strange when people are creating groups to have the most 'Ludzie', the most threads, the most postings, to be the most popular person,....
And for sure nobody of the creators of these groups/moderators will confirm this, but in their mind they do.
Now I'm not angry with him for stating this, because he was right.
You can't really have a go at someone for simply stating the truth.
This 'competition' was very, very silly, and I just decided I'd had enough and didn't want to 'play' any longer.
Of course I was still arguing today, but that was just my turn to state the truth as I see it.
I'd also like to point out that I never started anglosphere to compete with anyone, I did it because I wanted to and not because someone I didn't like had just done it, and I can only regret that I allowed myself to get dragged into an infantile game.
