Lee, I think you are missing the point here.
The fact that something is not funny, does not mean it is politically incorrect. I found it funny enough, but some people will not.

haha... that's pretty funny... and I really wouldn't base my .. anything on what's written on that blog, just like I wouldn't bother anymore with Pani whatever her name was. It's sort of like an accident, you know it's going to be absolutely awful, and I mean guts hanging out, head through the windshield and brains splattered all over the hood sort of awful... yet you look anyway, it's just one of those things. I've read some obnoxiously ridiculous blogs, written by folk from all over this green earth. It's just a handful of people with a serious inferiority complex, trying to "find" themselves in a situation which, for some reason, they thought, they were mentally ready for.
Immigration is not for everyone, some people however enjoy dwelling in their misery, while finding their own comfortable niche right smack in the midst of all their misery. Which is fine, to each his/her own... I wouldn't, never understood that mentality.

A certain quote springs to mind by Stanislaw Lem - "I had no idea that there were so many idiots in the world until I started using the Internet."

As per the youtube clips... I've had the pleasure of meeting some people like that... but again, it's not a Polish exclusive. When you're looking for failures you'll find plenty, we're human, our design is faulty. I tend to blame it on the generational gap as well as ... well... I think this guy puts it best:

You know, we don't have to look far to find some priceless quotes from people who sound just as desperate and out of place... just check out any, and I mean any of the EFL message-boards where ex-pats from all walks of life exchange their opinions on countries, students and cultures which they fail to comprehend. It's the nature of the beast. People suck.

I think I can get over the blog.

It's a plea for help from someone who can't, (for whatever reason), function properly in a foreign environment, and seems a common enough reaction in U.K. based Poles.

Warren, when you come back as Sung Hi Chang, Jet Mong Hun or Vitalij Kolashnikov, or whatever you come up with this time, and read this I would like you to know that I find plenty of things funny. I love shows like Little Britain and the fact that English people do have a sense of humour and can laugh at themselves, which you obviously lack and actually can not get over a blog, come on! I say, you are as boring as the whole generation from that YT clip Rafał has posted above. Get a life, a real one I mean, and be a man and face people with your real face like everyone else here on GL. For the time being you are nothing else than an Internet Troll.

As they say, there's nothing like bad publicity and so, thanks again for loving me so much Warren and promoting my blog.

What I find extremely curious is that some people in this group seem to spend much of their precious time fishing out things on the internet that they are obviously very very annoyed with.... Wouldn't it be healthier for you to ignore blogs you don't like?

Btw. in their nature, blogs are meant to be a platform for their authors to share whatever they want to share - everyone is entitled to have their opinions and those can change, so it's naive to keep quoting old entries from a blog when there are quite a few new ones....

I haven't visited this group for a long time, but I can see that certain things and attitudes will never change here, which is sad.

For example, I think it's just great that someone who is obviously a bit on the 'chunky' side can have a good laugh at others who are similarily 'horizontally challenged'.

It's good and healthy to use blogs to express what we need to express for whatever reason we need to express them, and it's admirable to defend what you miss and love against some observations however you can. Noone here is a real-life troll, however, and noone is an ingrate either. We do have real, loving fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and friends.

A man knocked on my door this evening and asked if he could rake the leaves. It's unusual. I told him "uh...I got it." Then he walked away dejectedly and, looking back, he said "I'm trying to feed my kids. We don't have any food in the house." I believed him. He was sincere.
