I'd go for this one; the egg chair doesn't seem to be particularly comfortable. I reckon I like things whose primary function is to be useful and comfy.

Instead of using stickers, I went for stenciled images in my son's room. On a sunnier day, I'll take some pics and show you. I think my bedroom needs more life in it (no pun intended, Keith!); as for now, I only have a Van Gogh reproduction and one lousy drawing by Cocteau, that I got years ago from my first boyfriend.

Hey. I've seen the Ghost chair in the Conran store! Conran, as far as furniture s concerned, is a bit too bizarre for me, but he has got a few decorative products I quite like.

"Bourgie Lamp by Kartell" gives me a cold impression. I wouldn't like to sit close to it.

The lamp in the photo I posted, is just the opposite for me. It doesn't have a known brand though. It is not a trendy or new design.
Instead of shapes and colors, I look at the furniture with a different approach. "Would it make me feel at MY home?"

Tastes are different, apparently. Our choices about furnitures, and materials would be completely different, I guess.

This thread makes me feel like an alien. If I need some furniture - which happens maybe every ten years - I just buy the cheapest thing I can find. Am I odd? :-)
