I think I’m pretty normal… but that’s according to my own standards haha… I’ve done things that a lot of people would consider far beyond strange and weird and I’ve been involved in things that are far from what the mainstream public would consider the norm… I don’t think that it makes me not normal.
I am often perceived as someone rather eccentric and weird mainly due to my choices of music… and personal beliefs.
I once had an epiphany of sort and wrote down “there’s nothing wrong with me, there’s something wrong with the world” and I am very happy with knowing that :)

(I actually wrote a paper “On Normality” for my final in Psychology … but that was.. about 10 years ago… I think I need to dig that out …)

But seriously, everything needs to be balanced, so you must be a little bit crazy to don’t get mad completely.

Ha! I wish I could call my-self and utterly mad lunatic - it would justify a lot :P

But I think I'm rather normal, Its hard to say, what is normal? What are we tallking about here? Just as Marek mentioned, what dose normal mean?

Cause if it means avrage - then I hope I'm far beyond avrage :D

Normal! And unpredictable.
How does your normality or lack of it manifest itself?
I try to fit in the social roles.
What would people around you say about you? Totally normal? Bit of a weirdo?
Actually they rarely give me any face-to-face feedback.
But if they do, it's almost always the same :)
People get shocked occasionally by what I say but it's not a big deal.

I'd say normal, but, as Raf said (damn it man! you beat me to it every time!), according to my standards.

I don't exaggerate in anything I do, in any aspect of life, except maybe for the time I spend playing the guitar. My online time could use a cut as well.
What would people around you say about you? Totally normal? Bit of a weirdo?
I've never been called a weirdo before. I have been called worse though ;) , but mostly in a friendly manner and only by people who know me well, and I mean well.

People who only know me a little tend to see me as a down-to-earth, serious person and I can't blame them - I often act very serious.

Totally normal -even the voice in my head told me once, although at the moment we are not talking.

How does your normality or lack of it manifest itself?
memorizing telephone directories, collecting newspaper cuttings in the shape of rocks or sausages. I could spend hours spotting buses (especially those red furry ones) and seagulls or sometimes two at the same time. Looking for my shadow is another great hobby.

What would people around you say about you? Totally normal? Bit of a weirdo?

Most people including the doctors say there is hope.Other people tell me "yes Ben you are totally totally normal-really) so thats really comforting.

Economics, physical things, and low emotional intelligence.

In real life they would say that we have our travels, our sports, our dinners, our helpful times, our concerts, our events, our clarity, our lessons, our arguments, our givings, our histories, our energy, our deals, our partnerships, pledges, our promises...

At the very present I am pretty normal!!

By being fully loaded with adrenaline because of anger/fear or by being emotionaly stimulated by some external factors.

-What would people around you say about you? Totally normal? Bit of a weirdo?

When I was in highschool people perceived me as a normal guy who is a bit psycho because of things that I had done and I could have been done. Maybe it was all because of the rulles which I had to obey ("army at home"- but only for me, my sisters had differnt female rulles, less restricted) which fought with my very rebellious period at that time. Thankfully my mom and some very event had opened my eyes widely and I started my responsible and mature life, I know that it sounds like a confession, maybe I am too outspoken ... it's my bad!!

Best wishes for all of you, I believe that a good childhood is one of the best things which we can receive from our parents!!

I've always wondered how to define "normal".

Perhaps we could consider it as "most popular" in given categories. For example, if the majority of people practiced voodoo, this would be "normal".

Most of the world's population lives in Asia and the most popular racial group is the Chinese. Most of the world's population are women. The most popular religion is Christianity. The majority of people are heterosexual.

So far, my portrait of "normality" would be:

A female heterosexual Chinese Christian.

Does anyone here fit that description?
