Well, after hearing the spectators in this video, I'm not sure who fed the lions.

But the way the 'spectators' react during the process is educational. Shows the average marine behaviour, I guess.
Well, they are also, only human...

Have you ever seen how sub-Saharan "Bushmen" hunt kudu? They run them, tracking them across distances, not allowing the animal to rest, until it overheats. We can sweat. They can't. So it just stands there or lays down. The hunter walks up to it and it's goodnight, kudu.

There's something in the helplesness of the animal that touches an emotion. Big eyes too. A particular defeated stance. So it's pitiful, I guess.

Archery deer hunting hunting season is from Oct. 1 through Nov. 15 here. Firearm season begins then and runs through the winter with various changes about which firearms you can use through the weeks.

You should see the carnage on the highways - deer draped over cars in transport. Still, it's one of my favorite things to eat.Joj Y. edytował(a) ten post dnia 23.11.09 o godzinie 19:51

"Nice 2 see captive wildcats having a bit of sport, however it should have been gazelle or deer and more of a hunt. Its no different to giving Owls or snakes live mice and reptiles live insects."

I still can't see the connection to fish being eaten alive by people.

It grosses me out too.

I personally place a higher value on the importance of their socializing there. They're happy. The fish isn't conscious and it really never was.

To me, the way that KFC treats the chickens is more of an issue.

Just watched a video, I felt so sorry for the poor animals.

Another thing about KFC: you have to go out of your way to make chicken an unhealthy thing to eat, but they know how to do it. :)
