Temat: The fire in Wólka Kosowska

Hello fellow group members,

It was a very unfortunate event this past weekend. I was wondering what you think about the fire in Wolka Kosowska? Why do you think it happened? And why was it so severe? Here are my theories:

1. The location is in the middle of nowhere, not close to any fire department.

2. Many of the business owners probably weren't taught about fire safety. They might have store spaces filled with fire-fuel making merchandise and cardboard boxes, more than what is safe.

3. The fire safety measures might not be up to current standards.

4. I wonder if any of them have fire insurance.

Again, I feel that this fire was quite tragic and I feel bad for any business owner who have lost their entire business due to this. What IS fortunate is that there aren't reports of human casualties. I think this is an opportunity to really re-think how we do business. Thank you for your time.

It was not first and I am sure not last fire in Wolka Kosowska.

Unfortunatelly, there are too many business to many interest Tirkish, Chinese, Ormians, Wietnams etc. and ofcourse Polish.

There are no safty place for that kinde of business.
