Thanks to Marcin Jasiński for these!

Who? :)
I mean, thank you :)

1. What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?

Not having to make decisions based on whether I can afford to pay for what I really need or not.

2. Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution as well as your desired course. What would that be?

A346, Vienna University. Criminal Psychology.

3. If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?

We've had all mutations of the question already I guess. The answer is no as your life can't be a bed of roses all the time and even the bad times proved beneficial to me somehow.

4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?

Water?
My son, even though he isn't "a thing".

5. What is you favourite book? Why?

I don't have one favorite book, just like most of the people who read more than three books in a lifetime. It all depends on my mood, where I am in life. There are, of course, books that I go back to, reread and drop in the bathtub all the time, but no single one I prefer to others. I am currently rereading David Lodge.

1. What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?

Buying a pair of immorally expensive shoes on a whim.

2. Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution as well as your desired course. What would that be?

Driving course - where they can finally teach me.

3. If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?

Yes, I'd like to be born Asian.

4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?

I guess I can't compete with water.

5. What is you favourite book? Why?

I have a list of at least 10 favourite books and I'm too lazy to say what they are and why they're my favourites (I've already done so elsewhere). Atm I'm reading "American Psycho".Sylwia Łubkowska edytował(a) ten post dnia 12.06.09 o godzinie 11:54

Hmm...Steve, you've made me think about my life now! Thanks for that :)

Answer 1: What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?

I believe 'Wealth is a state of mind'. Wealth means to me: feeling secure. But also living in Prosperity, which means do not let myself to be affected by some negative thoughts... Having a 'healthy relationship' with money...not feeling guilty because of having them, not feeling guilty about spending them etc.
We do hear stories every now and again about wealthy people being unhappy, so like I said 'Wealth is a state of mind' not the amount of money in our pocket.

Answer 2: Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution as well as your desired course. What would that be?

I would've studied marketing in order to be working in some company creating brand names and campagnes for different products. Very creative, I would love that! But I work in sales, which requires to be creative as well, so I have no problems with acceptance the career path I've chosen so far.

Answer 3: If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?

I would like to be born in Australia! But then my life would have looked different - I wouldn't have had the same family and friends, so...no! Seriously :) There are always some ups and downs in everyone's life and yes, probably I would have chosen a different career path if I was 20 again (marketing instead of sales). But overall I am happy being me - working in sales, born in Poland, living in the UK :) I believe that 'Each place along the way is somewhere we had to be in order to be there'. There are some things I am not happy about, but dealing with them makes me stronger! So the answer is no, I wouldn't really want to change anything in particular.

Answer 4: CANNNOT LIVE WITHOUT:

(in no particular order) music! mineral water, chocolate, coffee, my family, internet, mobile, my career, thai food, people, faith/hope... and I cannot live without chasing my dreams :)

p.s. I don't think I could live without sex all my life either! to be honest :)

Answer 5: BOOKS

Awww, I like lots of books! Difficult to pick up THE ONE....
But probably one of the books about personal development and that's because they have made some impact on my life...
'Alchemist' by P.Coelho and 'The Secret' by R. Byrne.

Warsaw Uni - applied linguistics

Music

5. What is you favourite book? Why?

I don't have one... there are so many good books out there, I don't think it's possible to pick just one, but if I were to pick one, it would've been "Cosmos" by Carl Sagan.Rafal W. edytował(a) ten post dnia 13.06.09 o godzinie 10:55

3. If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?

4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?

5. What is you favourite book? Why?

Not at all :)

1. As it has been said - it is a state of mind to me. Also, being able to afford what I want, where I want + help my entourage in any way.

2. It would certainly be a business course at Wharton. $150k is a little bit too much for a year IMHO.

3. Perhaps I would play less basketball and learn Latin + Italian. I would not waste time in some "messy" relationships. Other than that I would probably read Carnegie, Eker, Covey, Johnson and others way sooner (so about the 6th yo instead of 20). Other than that, I think everything went as it should :D

4. I did not specify this question (mea culpa), but some of you got it. For me it would be personal development. Sitting and doing nothing is so tiresome ;o

5. Although it's hard to select the ONE, it is possible. It's like choosing a partner :P Despite the profound impact the mentioned authors had on me in terms of way of thinking and all; I would go for Sapkowski and Wiedźmin.Marcin Jasiński edytował(a) ten post dnia 13.06.09 o godzinie 11:25

1. What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?
For me wealth is a biaspectual.Firstly it means: enough amount money to relalize my dreams and to cover my needs. Secondly:happiness and tranquility of my my soul. Sense of developing and expressing all my abilities and all zones of my personality without and shade of fear. All in all, freedom.

2. Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution as well as your desired course. What would that be?
I would like to do a dual doctoral degree from the human knowledge ( of course in english) from the Jagiellonian University and one of the American university.
I would like to have apersonal native speaker who could talk to me wether I want about everything, even about the most sophisticated issues in English. Some kind of teacher who would like to teach me English and talk to me about Barack Obama's presidency, about politics, health, literature, about everything..
For me, English conversations are sheer delight.
3. If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?

4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?
English, yoga , my angel and of course: sweets.

5. What is you favourite book? Why?
"The Little Prince" Why? Because I've never read a book which would tell about love, friendship, the most intimic feelings in a such pure, honest and open way. But it doesn't mean that is easy book. No, it's story full of symbolic meanings, which are deepen in fairylike convention. It's true that creating friendship and love is like a taming a wild animal. Almost nobody understand this truth.Agnieszka O. edytował(a) ten post dnia 14.06.09 o godzinie 23:54

1. What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?
you might be surpised but I've never tried to define it. maybe because it doesn't mean much to me?

2. Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution as well as your desired course. What would that be?
there would be more than one and nothing special. just photography, spanish or driving one. As I'm busy at the moment I have to prioritize which is more important for now.

3. If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?
Yes, there are some things I regret but if I changed anything I wouldn't be where I am now I suppose.

4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?
brain

5. What is you favourite book? Why?
I have plenty of favourite books but when I was reading this question I thought about "One Hundred Years of Solitude" of Márquez. Just read it and you'll know why.

1. What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?
a) Things which are supposed to bring happiness, but it doesn't always work that way.
b) When I think about "wealth", I personally recall all the things which makes me a better human and a happy man. It has nothing to do with money. However, it could be so sweet if there's money too. :)
2. Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution as well as your desired course. What would that be?
SAE in Istanbul. It could be fun. I could be a student too, but probably they'd enlist me as a teacher once I apply for it HAHA (Thanks, thanks, don't send flowers, panties are welcome but girls should just follow).
They would fire me though. They require some maths, even though it's about music & sound production.
3. If you were given a chance to be born again, would you change anything?
Probably yes.
But don't ask me what. It could take a life time for me to think it over and make a list. Even if it was just for 1 item.
4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?
Love, honestly.
I don't know the other way of living. I suffocate.
5. What is you favourite book? Why?
I don't have a fav book. I can't have a favourite book.
My ego is too big, I'd say: "I could've done it better" even though I know, I was once in diapers.ilter K. edytował(a) ten post dnia 17.06.09 o godzinie 11:38

1. What does ‘wealth’ mean to you?
To me "wealth" is is an utterance made by the mouth-breathing son of a Porthmadog sheep farmer and cousin/bride, when prompted with maximum cues to name his own ethnicity.

Wealth is "many people's savings in one person's hands," according to Eugene Debs, 19th century union leader and a five-time socialist candidate for U.S. president.
2. Suppose you could choose/enter any educational institution
I would pass. I value life experiences for development more and more.
3. If you were given a chance to be born again
I wouldn't be so scared and resist being born in the first place, wouldn't kick and scream so much immediately thereafter, seconds old. "What. Are you nuts? I LIKED it where I was!" I do business with the idea of my own death and dying with that in mind.
4. What is the thing without which you cannot live (except oxygen)?
1000 USD dollars is on the way to Ilter. I want to rent his answer: Love.
5. What is you favourite book?
I collect old books (not money-valuable). If there were a fire you would have hundreds of books on the lawn and I would be the American Crisp inside. Just for the sake of naming one I want to point to this old "Collection of Short Stories," by various authors. Is that cheating?Joj Y. edytował(a) ten post dnia 18.06.09 o godzinie 05:41
