Temat: Rezygnacja ze stripe

Witam.
Pytanie z poziomu LVM, ale z innej beczki niz poprzednie na forum.
Jest sobie system na ktorym jest grupa vg00 zawierajaca dwa wolumeny fizyczne. Zostaly zalozone wolumeny logiczne jednak uzyto opcji -i oraz -I w celu zalozenia stripe (Stripes: 2).

Sytuacja wyglada tak:

Jak widac extenty sa rozlozone po obu dyskach. Mam zamiar przeniesc teraz fizyczne extenty na jeden z dyskow, w sensie pozbyt sie stripe. Chce wykonac pvmove:

# pvmove -n /dev/vg00/lvol4 /dev/dsk/c3t5d0
Operation cannot be performed because some of the data on the physical volume
is striped and striped mirroring is not supported. To enable data transfer for
a physical volume through mirroring/reduction, do not specify the striping
options (-i, -I) when creating logical volumes on that physical volume.

Ktos ma pomysl jak zmigrowac ten wolumen na jeden PV i pozbyc sie stripe?

Uzywam HP-UX 11.11 bez MirrorDisk/UX.

W zasadzie rozwiazalem juz problem troche naokolo ;)

1. Zakladam nowy LV - /dev/vg00/lvol_var
2. Robie dd if=/dev/vg00/rlvol4 of=/dev/vg00/rlvol_var bs=256k
3. fsck /dev/vg00/lvol_var
4. vi /etc/fstab && reboot (/var jest busy)
5. potem lvremove /dev/vg00/lvol4
