Search for an expert!

The University of Lodz is looking for an expert for its new e-learning project E-ViEW – European Virtual Environment for Work-based Learning

About the project
Partners in E-View are developing and piloting a European Virtual Campus aimed at learners in the work place which will focus on enhancing their management skills and competences within a European context.
The E-ViEW consortium members are the University of East London (Co-ordinator), National College of Ireland, ATiT in Belgium, the University of Porto in Portugal and the University of Lodz in Poland. E-ViEW is supported by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme and is a two-year project ending in October 2012.

University of Lodz is looking for an external experts to critically assess the work undertaken in E-ViEW with the aim of improving the project’s impact and ability to meet both short and long term target group needs, achieving improved exploitation outcomes. The person will be part of the Expert Reference Group composed of approximately 6 European experts in the domain.

Who are we looking for?
- people who are active and expert in the area of work-based learning, e-learning and Virtual Campus;
- people who can help us define our specifications for the VC;
- people who are active in networks such as EFMD, EDEN, ELIG, SEFI, EUA, etc.. or work in the industry involved in e-learning in workplace.

What does the participation involve?
1) Participating in a virtual meeting with a sub-group of partners to explain the rationale of the project and the work being undertaken - probably no more than 90 minutes and expected to take place in June or July.
2) Accessing outputs of work-package 3 and work-package 4 via email and commenting and contributing to outputs where possible.
3) Attending one night/one day workshop meeting in Brussels Sept 2011 to refine design specification in group with other experts and the partners.

This is not a job offer, but rather a request to help us improve the quality of project’s results. However, we will cover the cost of a flight and subsistence in Brussels during the workshop.
